5 Steps to Total Transformation

[NIV] 2 Corinthians 3:18 “And we all, who with unveiled

faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being

transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory,

which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit”

   It was Paul who wrote about these 5 steps. If there was ever anyone in the New Testament, about being transformed it was he!

Firstly :~ Believers must have an encounter with “unveiled faces”, in other words the many masks we wear in a normal day, here are some examples …

• Morning Family organiser mask ..

• The Public transport mask ..

• The Work mask ..

• The Shopping mask ..

• The Home-evening mask ..

… Surprising how many we wear in a normal day. Now finally all of these pretence & self-righteousness have all be stripped away. We can see ourselves clearly and know who and what we truly were a sinner in need of a Saviour; a weakling in need of strength; a fool in need of some badly needed wisdom.

Secondly :~ You ”contemplate the Lords glory” Just think for just a moment the Son of God, wanted to save you from all that’s in the World. W O W just simply W O W. So now like Moses you too are transformed by pressing into the effervescent glory of God. Once you grasp His true majesty and the infinite wonder of his love, you’re over whelmed in His presence.

Thirdly :~ We should always have in consideration is that … “All this come from the Lord” .. Something else to always have in consideration is that ..”we can’t do anything in our own strength’ ..You see ..

• no matter how hard you try,

• How disciplined you might be

• Even keeping all the rules

• No matter how religious you think you are

… You will still remain a sinner. If God can’t change you, then you don’t want; be bothered as it means leaving your whole life behind. How much do you want it, is what it boils down too.

Fourthly:~ Please keep in the for front of you mind during being Transformed from your old life. Best said in 2 Corinthians3:18 “being transformed into His image” .. Now lets finish this verse .. “ with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord” .. Our transformation is a turning point away from our old ways to a better way of life which brings with it joy like unknown; with peace; Health; best of all a closer with God.

Finally:~ After giving your heart and life over to god, to having a Baptism, to reading your bible daily. As Corinthians 3:18 [*AMPC] says .. “are constantly being transfigured into His very own image in ever increasing splendour and from one degree of glory to another” Transformation is a process NOT an, one time event, we never stop. You keep changing and will never experience all the glory, He alone can give you .. “[for this comes] from the Lord [Who is] the Spirit”

Romans 12:2 “And do not be conformed to this world, 

but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, 

that you may prove what is that good and 

acceptable and perfect will of God”

   Here are some secular words that are being rammed down our throats by the World and they are . . Confirmatory & [possibly the worst in my book] is Tolerance . . Well, um sorry [not sorry] but NO WAY on Gods green Earth! These words are biblical, so I do not accept them. If God never said it [that is, in His Bible] then it was not said by God or Jesus, I don’t see it being Gods will.

End of discussion, Mic drop moment.

   God never said we should bend over backwards to accommodate and water down our religion, from those who want nothing to do with God. We are to be ‘transformed’, in other words we think of righteous acts doing Gods will. It is asked what is the will of God? Well simple it’s his living Word, and we have it in our hands daily. “transformed by the renewing of your mind”, this leads us to a new way of thinking, a Better ~ Healthier ~ Mentally. The Bible will not tell you who to date, just equally yoked, but like myself who wrote down everything I wanted in a wife, and within 8 mths God brought us together and were married. I went from trying to do it in the natural to the supernatural because I was moving in Gods will.

   This is working under and in Gods will. “that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God” By handing over to god my problem it meant I stopped trying in my strength and surrendering fully to God. My prayer to Him went a little like this … “Not by strength buy by yours O Lord. I the past I have chosen the wrong lady or messed it some way. So I leave my need & want at your feet Lord, I’ll go to the places where other single Christians will meet”. I placed the description of whom I was looking for, into 1 Corinthians 13. Closed my Bible and said, OK God it’s over to you, as I know you’ll have someone in mind.

   Needless to say within 6mths, I met my ideal woman; proposed to her; she moved 535 miles, we got married. And we are still very happy, and am strong in the faith as we were 27yrs ago.

   So to closing let me remind you of what Romans 12:2 said, “not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind” .. or else we will not be Christians, and God can’t fully bless or help us in our time of need. Let me leave with this .. Revelation 2:19 I know your works, love, service, faith, and your patience, and your works the last the more than the first”

When fully committed to full faith in God and the

unseen anything is possible.

Do You Stay, or

Do You Go?

[NIV] Numbers 13:31 “We can’t attack those people, they are stronger that we are”

   Moses sent 12 spies into Canaan, in preparation for their up & coming invasion. But on threshold of their greatest exploits, ten spies took a long hard look at the challenges and decided they weren’t worth it. They preferred their nomadic life to the battles before them. Only 2 spies made it into the promised land.

We all face moments when the likelihood of success seems so small ..

• The Obstacles seem insurmountable ..

• The costs seem immeasurable ..

• Those who turn back never fulfil their dreams

• Those who press on may fail, but at least they fail daring greatly!

   Now with God, we’re on the threshold of a greater accomplishment, of leaving behind the desert of this World and pursuing a glorious life in God, some are always going to turn back, and refusing to grasp the new and glorious life. Simply it scare them; it looks to cost too much; victory seems beyond impossible.

   Ah, but those who refuse to retreat and instead press-on live a full and advantaged life of Faith, and follow God into the promised land full of milk and honey.

What Faith Have you?

   Mark 11:23/25 “Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. 24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. 25 And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.”

   God is asking this, because in so many of us are lacking in both a closer walk & connection with Him, and true faith & belief in His living word. So why aren't we? Is it our teaching that is hold us back? After all the Bible is not just a book with 2 halves in the Old testament [OT] & New Testament [NT]. You can’t have one without the other. You have it in it’s entirety, not for us to cherry pick only the bits we like!

   Coming back to the mountain, it is both literal & metaphorical. It can be Cancer; an addiction; a worry; any disease. When asking remember .. “does not doubt in their heart” .. which means your stepping out in faith. Therefore you ..”but believes that what they say will happen” .. “ it will be done for them” .. I have almost frombeing baptised physically & spiritually by the Holy spirit, I have said “have faith & believe”. [NKJV] Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.”

   Just because we don’t see the Air we breath, does not stop us from breathing. All I ask in sharing is that you will start your closer walk with God [the one true living], and he will stir inside you greater faith in His and the good news that is His living Word.

A Definition of Faith

Faith is God operating in the soul by His

Son and transforming the natural into the

supernatural. Faith is the glorious knowledge

of a personal presence within you, changing

you from strength to strength and glory to

glory until you get to the place where you

walk with God, and God Thinks and

speaks through you by the power of the

Holy spirit.

Faith is evidence by a perfect peace in

the heart and complete conviction in the

soul the Gods word is true and, He will do it.

   So when praying don’t be like a piece of drift wood at sea. Being blown hither and by the wind and waves. It is time to stand on Gods word! If you either believe in His word or you don’t. God wants us to stand tall in the faith and demand it ~ to complete healing ~ Cancer gone ~ addictions gone ~ Hearing restored. Remember these words from Christ Jesus .. “Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father” [John 14:12 NIV] .. Not well you never know or maybe kinda sorter. But .. “they will do even greater things” .. So stand on His living Word and expect with your heart.

The Warning

   In this small book, we are shown the pitfalls of being of the World. You may well be saved, but how well do you know & closely are you walking with our living God?  V4 “They are people to whom God means nothing” Yes .. Yes.. “we are to go out into ‘ALL’ the World preach the gospel” [Mark 16:15] That’s all well and good I hear you say, what if they refuse? You dust off your feet and hands, and tell them you have tried and they have rejected God. Then you can leave with a clear conscience, as you know you have tried, It’s NOT your fault they rejected God.

   Here the Bible reminds us that .. what these people don’t understand is that by rejecting Him they insult Him. Remember now that we are saved we have become transformed, now no longer of World thinking ~ attitudes & behaviour.

   Now set apart from the World, we must be careful that we don’t slip back into our old ways. We now no longer have the hunger or desire to be once again, as V16 puts it .. “These people complain; find fault; follow their own desires; say arrogant things; and flatter people in order to take advantage of them” .. V18 “In the last times people who ridicule God will appear”

   My prayer to God was, ‘this new lot politicians – are they any better than those they replaced? As they only lasted 2yrs out of 5yrs! I think I did truly got an answer, not the one I had maybe prayed hoped for.

   With you already on this, God, so in all things I will give thanks unto our Lord Christ Jesus, the author and finisher of our Faith. In finishing God wants to say this, V22/25 “22 Show mercy to those who have doubts. 23 Save others by snatching them from the fire of hell. Show mercy to others, even though you are afraid that you might be stained by their sinful lives. 24 God can guard you so that you don’t fall and so that you can be full of joy as you stand in his glorious presence without fault. 25 Before time began, now, and for eternity glory, majesty, power, and authority belong to the only God, our Saviour, through Jesus Christ our Lord.

God Want's to Forgive

[NRIV]Micah 7:18/19 “Lord, who is a God like you? You forgive sin. You forgive your people when they do what is wrong. You don’t stay angry forever. Instead, you take delight in showing your faithful love to them. 19 Once again you will show loving concern for us. You will completely wipe out the evil things we’ve done. You will throw all our sins into the bottom of the sea”

   Micah asks here in reverence, ‘how is it that we do all these things wrong against you & others, yet you bestows upon us mercy & grace?

   V19 “You will completely wipe out the evil things we’ve done” … What an awesome God we have that we have a personal daily connection with. That He is going to over look ALL the .. “evil things we’ve done” .. V18 “Lord, who is a God like you?” .. Seriously, I feel what a God we have in as much as He is willing to, just just like when you make a mistake whilst writing a letter – you screw up the page and just start again, this is what God is doing for us here. As in V19 “You will throw all [yes all] our sins into the bottom of the sea” … Lets just let that sink in for moment.

OK??

   Let these remarks ring in your mind during the coming days…

~ What do you imagine about God after you’ve sinned?

~ Do you imagine an angry God, quick to turn you away? .. OR

~ Do you imagine Him indignant that you have failed, yet again?

   The Bible assures us that His anger & Disappointment in us passes quickly, and that He actually delights in giving Mercy to a humble and repentant heart.

   God really takes no joy in judgement, if we truly want to please Him, we need to stop trying to hide our sins & failures. We need to bring them out and lay them before Him, in the light of day and forsake them, so God can help deal with them, after showing you His Mercy & Grace.

Prayer

‘What is it Good For?’

    Apart from the obvious, in communing with God. Question: “If you were to lift up your land-line or Mobile phone, and don’t dial a number, you’d say what’s the point?”

• No one knows what’s troubling you .
•  No one knows you needs ..
• How do you ask for help .... 

   This is why you pray to God, to our Lord Jesus. We don’t only come to Jesus to ask for stuff. Just like on the phone we like to tell those Family & Friends we love them, and how much they mean to us.

   In Cynthia Healds book called “A woman’s Journey to the 

heart of God”, she write this ..

In a sense we are all, in some way, outcasts until we

meet the Lord. We are thirsty for people to love and

accept us. We drink from many wells to try to satisfy

our longings, but eventually, we tire of always

have to draw water to get our needs met. Each of us

asks, isn’t there someone who will give me

water without manipulating me, or requiring me to

jump through hoops for it? Isn’t there someone who

will love me just for who I am?

   Now as saved we should no feel ‘out-casts’ in our relationship with our Lord, for He is always waiting for us to call upon His Name, and open a dialogue. Here’s a tip I use when out and about and need to pray. I lift out my mobile phone, then praying into my Mobile, now remember just as you pause to let whom ever we’re talking to to respond us, we must always pause to let our Lord to lead us to His answer.

The best way to start in learning to pray is from what is often known as ‘The Lords Prayer’ ..

 “For your Father knows the things you have

need of before you ask Him.

Being Tempted

[NIV] James 1:13/14 “When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone; 14 but each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed”

   The bible tell us that ‘Temptation comes from 3 sources .. 1) from the devil [Adam & Eve sinned when they gave into temptation, also the devil temped Jesus Himself] .. 2) From the World .. 3)From our own evil, fallen hearts.

   It is a misconception among newly saved Christians, that all their temptations have all gone away. Then become disheartened when they find out their old temptations have not gone away. In fact your old temptations will always be part of your every day life whilst here on Earth. Before you become disheartened The Bible promises .. “God is faithful, He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear” (1 Corinthians 10:13) [NIV]

   Look at this way, God has given us His Gifts ~ Gracie's ~ Promises, and so much more besides. God will never leave us, to fen for ourselves, nor forsake us. Watch .. “Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me” [Psalm 23:4]


Prayer

Hallowed father God in Heaven, Strengthen us by your spirit, and help us to resist ‘ALL’ temptations. In the name of your Son Jesus Christ our Lord, we pray.

Who do you lean upon?

   I'll leave names out, but today I found out this "Seasoned International' footballerleft his club because 2 fellow team mates lleft and went on to pastures new, now that thier contracts were up. These guys had been with the football club just shy of a decade each, have won everything at club level.

   This other guy got hurt at them leaving his club, he too now has decided to leave this football club as well. 

   Now why am I telling you this, it's to say this guy was wrong for leavingas well. It was to ask you this . . ."Who do you lean on when - things don't go your way? - or - When faced with forced uncertainty? - or - you have to make difficult decisions? 

   The first thing we must count oh what joy it is to be saved ...(1)  “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”31 So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved" ... the second thing is to know that (2) "You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world". Meaning no matter what trials - obstacles; or 100,000 strong army at the door, GOD is bigger, stronger, and wiser than what ever this World has in store, for He is greater.

   Tell me is this not the only one you nee to leaning on? The one who created the Sun Moon & Stars. surely God can help. All He asks in return is that you have believe & have faith in Him. His measure for us is .. (3)  "Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.” Surly you can see God is the only one to whom we lean upon!

(Cancer is the curse of the modern World)

   The Bible must be our guide in the Question. Christians did not smoke, they were on fire! They were fired with enthusiasm to live our lives well and pleasing to our Lord. A Christian should be at least the 3 things shown below.

1] Free
   Free from anything which grows into making us a slave. . .
[GW] Galatians 5:1 “Christ has freed us so that we may enjoy the benefits of freedom. Therefore, be firm ⌞in this freedom⌟, and don’t become slaves again”
[GNT] “Freedom is what we have—Christ has set us free! Stand, then, as free people, and do not allow yourselves to become slaves again”
[MSG] “Christ has set us free to live a free life. So take your stand! Never again let anyone put a harness of slavery on you”
[AMP]John 8:36 “So if the Son makes you free, then you are unquestionably free”
… Our bodies are to be temps where the Holy spirit resides. Let me suggest this, would you give someone you hold in high esteem a damp mould ridden condemned house to live in? Well this is what us Christians do if our ways are not changed the way they should be.

2] Pure and undefiled
   Pure and undefiled, in His ways is an example. Let me ask you this .. “Is smoking a pure habit?” .. “Does it defile us?” .. I would like you smokers to look at your fingers and think of what it is doing to your throat & lungs. Let me put this to you, “should defiled fingers and lips partake of the bread & wine (Communion), Which we speak of such a pure and undefiled one as is Christ?”. Is it a good example to your children and the youth of the church?
[NLT] Matthew 6:13 “ And don’t let us yield to temptation, but rescue us from the evil one”

3] Personal temple
[GW] 1 Corinthians 6:19/20 “Don’t you know that your body is a temple that belongs to the Holy Spirit? The Holy Spirit, whom you received from God, lives in you. You don’t belong to yourselves. 20You were bought for a price. So bring glory to God in the way you use your body”

   Your body is the temple of the holy Spirit, and it is to be presented to God, Holy and in order to Glorify Him. I’m sure you don’t need me to remind you that smoking leads to cancer, this in it’s self should be a wake up call. . .
[GW] Romans 12:1 “Brothers and sisters, in view of all we have just shared about God’s compassion, I encourage you to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, dedicated to God and pleasing to him. This kind of worship is appropriate for you”
... Would you truly stand there and blow putrid smoke into the temple of God and then present it to Him, telling God it is a Holy thing? Do you sincerely think smoking positively Glorifies God? Now being honest, on which side do you think the scales weigh down? I know that any addiction can be hard, but smoking being one of the most difficult to quit. As for my Father in law after giving his life to Christ he said one day I can’t do this any more, threw his cigarettes in the bin. But today there is a plethora of aids to help.

Gods Peace, when
Anger Rises

James 1:19 “So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath; 20 for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God”
Romans 12:14 “Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse”
Proverbs 15:1 “A soft answer turns away wrath, But a harsh word stirs up anger”

   When engulfed with anger, it can be hard to fall into restful sleep. You will be lying in bed stewing over, your mind constantly playing over and over the events that have left you in anger. It could have been something that happened just today, or your co-workers criticism, or your child's wild behaviour, or a church member bringing unwanted gossip in church. It could have happened in your past (years ago) but continually comes to the fore front of your mind. Her unkind words, His refusal to apologise, the betrayal you never saw coming, the wounds you fear will never heal. Those are things to forgive, and hard things to let go.

   While your day my be filled with so much busyness there is no time to properly contemplate these difficult circumstances, your lying in bed are often not that way. All you have is yourself, your pillow, and your thoughts. And when your thoughts turn to these provoking situations, they can lead to long nights of restlessness. Instead of peacefully dreaming, you’re troubled by ways you were wronged, mistreated, and deceived. Not surprisingly, this doesn't lead to peaceful, bliss-filled sleep. Instead, your heart fills a little hard and desire for revenge keeps knocking, holding you and your thoughts in a vice like grip.

What would it look like to let all that pent

up anger go?

   All that resentment that pulses through your veins and makes your face flushed with your frustration is really controlling you(and only you), but not the person who wronged you, not the friend who who deceived you, not the spouse who betrayed you. In short, the anger you hold and nurse and keep on simmering is now impacting you most fervently. It’s started to steal your body of rest and festering in the deepest parts of your soul. We must stay always mindful. As the enemy feeds off of your anger your feeling. But there is good news: the Lord is able to rescue you from his grip.

   In Psalm 37:8, the Psalmist said it like this “Refrain from anger and forsake wrath! Fret not yourself: it tends only to evil” [ESV]. Harbouring unforgiveness is not only harmful for you, it’s also exhausting. Right here and right now, vow to make a change in your thinking, even only a small change. As your reading this cry aloud to God for His help to over come this battle your in. Asking Him for His supernatural strength to breath deeply, inhaling forgiveness and exhaling bitterness. Imagine His loving arms around you, letting you know He understands this fretting your going through. This kind of change doesn’t happen over night. But just for this night, in these quiet moments, you can you can take a small step toward change & cleansing, purifying, rest giving change.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, help me take a step toward healing and forgiveness. Remind me of the everlasting patience you hold, and help me regard others with the same gracious, loving, spirit-filled as yourself.

Word ~ Thought ~ Deed

   Before we jump in, I want to tell you now that we are going to jump around your Bible. I make no apologies as we navigate this subject.

• Every ~ Word

   So gather your scraps of paper as we begin. I’m starting with these couple of questions . .

1. When someone cuts up on the road, do you either say .. ‘bleep bleep – swearing like a trooper’, Or, you say ‘oh you silly been, careful as you go now?’.
2. When hitting you hand with a hammer, Or, drop something heavy onto your toes, do you swear, Or, manage to control what you say in that moment?’

… If by doing so controlling the smallest member of the body, managing what most people have not done so, down through time.
[GW]James 3:2&3 “All of us make a lot of mistakes. If someone doesn’t make any mistakes when he speaks, he would be perfect. He would be able to control everything he does. 3 We put bits in the mouths of horses to make them obey us, and we have control over everything they do”

   I was once told of a businessman, whom would count to 15 seconds before ever replying to what was asked of him. He would do this as to always to be in control of what he response was, and never to be angry and loose control of what he said. I have to say this is very difficult, as I have tried, and failed. Never have I heard of anyone else like this?

[NIV] Colossians 3:17 “And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him”

   As we seek God’s utterance to help us, metaphorically – with a horses bit, to control our mouths and words. May be one way, could be, to think of our words as seeds. I reckon many would remember things they said to others during their school days, some I’m sure some were once good, and some were hurtful words uttered. The truth being both have landed, and have taken root. Just as in the parable of the sower … [NIV] Matthew 13:1-9 ...Even if this parable is one you know very, or at least you think you do, might I suggest you now read it again, only before you do, ask God to show you something new.

   Before moving on, let me say one more thing on this matter . . .[NIV] Matthew 12: 36/7 “I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken. 37 For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned”. . . as kids, most of us have uttered at sometime .. ‘sticks and stones may break my bones, but names will never hurt me’.. sadly some of these words, even today, have left wounds that will never heal. When speaking, we must, think of every word as a seed. Will they help to flourish or will they grow into a brier patch and hold this person back.

• Every ~ Thought

[NIV] Psalms 139:23 “Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts”
   May be you didn’t ‘say anything’, but you still thought it. God still counts these words as spoken. What we must still remember to do is .. STOP .. and ask for God to help, but, honestly just repent and mean it . . “God, know my heart” . . Doing this which is very hard, means turning your ‘whole’ life completely over to God. Only then will our lives be totally turned around, leading to a closer walk with Jesus. This will mean less . .”Anxious thoughts”

   If your thinking your worthy, chase these thoughts away in Jesus name. You may feel that all He has ever given, I have never deserved, but, He still gives to us day after day. He does this through His good graces ~ mercies & love. For this every morning we must thank Him. Acknowledging Him is just the right thing to do, thanking Him for what He did yesterday, and for those He will do in the day coming.

   I do wonder how many times in the past I have fretted about silly things, instead of turning my worries over to Jesus . .
[NIV] Philippians 4:6 “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God” . . Did you see that ..”Do not be anxious”.. How many times in the OT* & NT*, do we see God ~ Jesus or even Paul, tells us not to worry .. “about anything” .. so, STOP fretting, remember, we live by faith not by sight .. “but in every situation” ..I don’t care if it’s taking the dog for a walk; travelling to work; needing green traffic lights, an easy parking space; or the rent is due; an over draft that seems to be getting out of control; or your expecting your first child. All bar of the last I have experienced at some time or another since coming home to Christ. We need to seek Gods face daily, yes daily, more than once as well, and not on your phone, it needs to be face to face, one on one, with NO distractions. OK, God knows what we need before we ask for it. But He still wants us to come to Him daily.

• Our .. Deeds

 In this the last ..‘Our Deeds’ .. I want to show that even by doing ‘nothing’ it will still be counted as a ‘Deed’. Example: You may gather with old~Earthly friends, when something happens where you receive a tug on your heart, but all your old friends are laughing, but you say/do nothing to help, this is a non-deed, which will still count. You can stand there are try to argue that you did not laugh or mock, it is still counted.

[NKJ] Ezekiel 24:14 “I, the Lord, have spoken it; It shall come to pass, and I will do it; I will not hold back, Nor will I spare, Nor will I relent; According to your ways And according to your deeds They will judge you, Says the Lord God”

You see there is no way around this .. “According to your ways” .. see that .. “your ways” .. I know I have swung this wet fish around a lot. Don’t you see we are held to account to every .. Word ~ Thought ~ Deed .. and “They will judge you”. There is no age limit to this, there is no saying ‘I didn’t know better’.

[NKJ] Proverbs 20:11 “Even a child is known by his deeds, Whether what he does is pure and right”
[NKJ] John 3: 20 “For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed”
21 “But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God”

   God wants us to live in the light, so that we may be held to our actions, because God wants us to have life more abundantly.
[NKJ] John 10:10 “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly”
[NKJ] Luke 6:38 “Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you”

   Lets stop and look at these 2 verses. I have not come to share where our short comings are. But, also to show how not to break Gods heart for saving us, but also to show what happens to those who walk by faith and not by sight, (or by the flesh/World).

We need to be mindful of walking by flesh/world, as this is what the evil one wants. Look .. “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy” .. This is Gods warning to us as the evil one wants to .. “ steal” .. any good thoughts you may have to help someone, he’ll tell you that ‘they don’t need you help’ or see ‘they’ll not even thank you’. “kill”.. any thoughts of kindness, I stand against this, in as much, in my local shop I need to use a trolley, the one I have to pay to use. Now after putting my shopping into the car, I look to see if there is a parent with a child, I ask them if their child can return my trolley and keep the coin for doing so. If so, I say ‘God bless you’. This was to say thank you to God for letting me bless them, and sow some seeds of kindness.

   Jesus came that we should have “they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly” .. surely this has to be crystal clear to us, at least I hope so. The next time we have ..Words ~ Thoughts ~ Deeds .. stop for a second and think ‘Do I want to sow weeds ..that are only going to choke any good, that this person will do because they will forever be there preventing forever achieving their goals. Instead lets help them, even when we don’t want to, by planting seeds of greatness, Gods greatness that is. . . .
[NKJ] Romans 15:18 “For I will not dare to speak of any of those things which Christ has not accomplished through me, in word and deed ...19 in mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God”
. . . You see all things are possible with God, that is why He wants to be continuously on our lips. Our Lord God can help us navigate this treacherous ~ wicked & perverse World. Lets be that light in Christ, with our Words ~ Thoughts ~ Deeds. Lets show what that looks like in the light of Christ Jesus.

   I have one more verse to leave you with, to show you how to be a winner in life through our Lord God ..
[NKJ] Matthew 19:26 “But Jesus looked at them and said to them, With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible”
… This verse should always be on your lips & embedded in your heart.

Thank you Heavenly Father for saving us and be that lamp unto our feet, I may we be given the fortitude to have the stength to control  our words thoughts and deeds, in our Lord Christ Jesus name/ Amen
